Mindful Drumming in Harmony

Whether you're a Central Coast local or a visitor passing through, gather with us in the heart of Harmony for a joyful, peaceful, mindful drumming experience!
Dee DiGioia, from Mindful YOUniversity, is a HealthRhythms® Drumming Wellness Facilitator who gently guides participants through a variety of grounding and dynamic rhythmic activities to inspire curiosity, creativity, courage, and connection.
Nature Rhythms offers a unique experience to slow down and reconnect with oneself, with one another, and with nature—finding balance, joy, and inner peace as we attune to the grounding rhythms, the breath of the wind, and the sweet harmony inside and out.
No drumming or musical experience is necessary. All levels and abilities welcome. This is a welcoming and accessible space, especially for those with little to no experience who may feel hesitant to try something new. Those with more drumming experience add depth and inspiration to the collective rhythm. This is geared towards adults, but those traveling with children are welcome to attend. (Sorry - no pets in our circle.)
As our rhythms weave together, many find stress softening, creativity awakening, and a deeper sense of grounding and joy emerging ~ a recipe for a stress-free day!
Nature Rhythms is a therapeutic rhythm and mindfulness-based wellness approach inspired by the science of the HealthRHYTHMS® protocol, which integrates decades of research on the benefits of group drumming for overall well-being.

The Big Sur Jade Festival features the best Jade and lapidary artists from around the country and beyond, world class musicians, drum circles every morning, and much more including and especially you!
Did you know: the Big Sur Jade Festival is an annual fundraising event. Every summer we provide education enrichment grants to the students of Pacific Valley school & the children of the South Coast of Big Sur. Past recipients have also included the Big Sur Fire Brigade, Pacific Valley School, and other local organizations.

Thinking about getting hitched? Well, whether your dream is 9 guests or 99, Harmony is the perfect place to tie the knot.
The famously quaint Harmony Chapel accommodates about 40 seated guests with standing room for up to 20 more, while the lush surrounding gardens are another option for those who prefer the great outdoors or a larger guest list.
If you're looking to play mayor instead of Prince Charming, don't you fret, rent the town! Harmony is also available to rent in its entirety for events limited only by your imagination.
